Looking for the best fun things to do in the Easter holidays? With the spring break upon us, you might be looking for days out and activities to do with your children.
We’ve rounded up ten free (or very cheap) cracking ideas to help you have an egg-celent adventure.
Go on an egg hunt: Surely the pinnacle of all Easter-themed activities, if you want to hunt down some chocolate, here’s a list of egg hunts across the UK.

Spend Easter with the National Trust: There are National Trust properties across the UK, and a huge range of Easter activities from egg hunts through to nature trails. Some of them have a small charge, and you might need to be a member to enter the properties - check the website first.
Find a bluebell forest: Bluebells are in season! Look on the Woodland Trust website to find your nearest forest full of the beautiful blue flowers, for a pretty family walk.
Join the library: Your local library will probably have free sessions over Easter, from storytelling through to Easter crafts. Join up and take out some books, too.

Go down on the farm: If you’re not in the countryside but want to see animals in spring, fear not, you can still go to the farm - there are city farms in most big cities, and lots of city farms in London. Most of them will be free to enter.
